Lives and works in Milan
Cristina de Pedrojuán Pascual is a visual artist working with painting and sculpture. Trained between Spain and Milan, the artist's research stems from the need to explore movement.
In addition to painting, in recent years she has created installations to allow his works to become devices capable of generating movement and action.
Very vivid, bright and fluorescent colors are fundamental to his language, as well as a three-dimensional effect obtained thanks to the combination of multiple materials together with paint, to help the shapes
get out of the pictorial space.
Cristina de Pedrojuán rediscovers techniques reminiscent of her childhood: oil chalks and pastels to express her creativity as in a game, in which she observes the reaction of colors and materials.
The artist in 2021 won an artist residency in the NON-Reserved space in Milan and continues her exhibition activities between Spain and Italy.
"The fascination with the uniqueness of certain color combinations, brings my pictorial language out of the traditional medium by seeking and finding in the stimuli of the audience a symbol that defines the work made."
