STAY IN TOUCH
Fabbrico, 1998
He currently lives and works in Correggio
Giacomo Incannella's art starts from the attempt to replicate the annoying effect of a tilted computer screen while watching a film
Within this narrow limit the colors alter, thus modifying the images they fill
Following the same mechanism the artist has created provocative images by altering the colors but instead of hiding the images this process has revealed them
The artist's works look like infrared images that don't need a viewer to be viewed.
Hot and cold,
light and dark,
duality coexists and exists
in constant chaotic harmony
in the works of Giacomo Incannella
"Everything is dual; everything has poles; everything has its pair of opposites; like and unlike are the same; opposites are alike in nature, but different in degree; extremes meet; all truths are but half truth; all paradoxes can be reconciled."
- The principle of polarity | Kybalion
