Massimo Cammisa is a visual artist who, after an initial period of experimentation, characterized by the influence of the "sign" of Emilio Vedova and Antoni Tàpies, has found his stylistic figure in the abstract form.
The form that the artist seeks is mostly indefinite and fluid: these figures free themselves on the pictorial surface, filling it with different but always very bright and lively shades and colours.
The more academic inspiration of the two Masters moved to a personal and emotional one: Japanese popular culture, manga in particular.
Moving in this direction, Massimo experiments with techniques such as airbrushing on dibond panels, recovering a part of an ancient pictorial tradition, approaching the aesthetics of the ancient Japanese schools.
