The works of Nicolò Villa reason on the undermining of the classic perception of an object, altering their usual function, to reveal an unexpressed but real meaning.
The artist creates hybridizations of subjects distant in their function and reality of belonging.
This procedure, influenced by the experimentalism of producer Kulešov, creates a new and original image with its own meaning.
The artistic medium adopted, drawing , allows precisely the visualization of this neo-object.
As a "virtual" representation it does not manifest itself
there-in-front-of-us in reality, but appears as a crystallized icon of its possible state, suspended between natural and hypothetical.
